1968 Barr & Muat Donaldson card drawn but unissued in 1948, issued two decades later as a hand-coloured (by Barr) art card. Billy Wardle of Blackpool, Southport, Birmingham City etc,This is a private card made by the Donaldson artist John Barr coloured by the artist himself. Only a handful of each card were made. These are virtually impossible to find, these days. They were made by Barr & his collector-printer pal Robt. Muat because Abe Donaldson had failed to include the 1948 artwork in his last series of cards . Just a handful of such cards were made.
