Believed to be the earliest Moss portrait card. 1953 -54 Sterling Moss ROOKIE Cicogna. NOTE: the 1953 -4 1st issue cards had plain backs; had numbers on white opaque backgrounds, as opposed to later, 1954-55, cards which have inscriptions on the back with transparent number circles. Also, these earlier cards have text boxes to the front, aside the images, which were dropped on later 1955 reissues. Original 1st edition trade card from Italy number #23, sold as seen, some handling wear but nothing major, about VG. Issued with the Jaguar C card #24, for sale elsewhere on this site (which the Italians called a 'Maserati' on later reissues) SOLD AS SEEN
