Issued by 1920, a superb condition antique Baines card for London Scottish, no doubt the rugby team, yet this is an unusual trading card, shield-shaped gaming card, as it shows a laughing kilted character, sporran and all, alongside a soccer image! This just shows the people designing Baines cards after John Baines Sr's death were not always aware which team played what sport! Yet, this is almost a 110+ year-old piece of British - Scottish - history and it's superb! Sold as seen.
